Andrea Anders
Anders was raised and educated in DeForest in Wisconsin and is now based on the west coast of Los Angeles. Her graduation was in 1993 at DeForest Area Highschool in DeForest Wisconsin. Then in 1997, she received her bachelor of Arts at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. In 2001, she graduated with an MA in Fine Arts at Rutgers University. Anders was involved in a romantic relationship in a relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met on the set of Joey) and her co-star from the cancelled show. Anders' brother is director Sean Anders (Sex Drive, Never Been Thawed). Anders was in the theatre as early as 2001. In the Broadway show Proof that she played Mary Louise Parker's understudy. Later in The Graduate, Anders played Elaine Robinson. On the Jump was her first appearance at The Arena Stage. New Doors took place in the Guthrie Theater. The two New York Stage & Film productions, namely Cold/Tender & New World Rhapsody were also staged by New York Stage & Film. Anders first appeared with Fat Pig at Geffen Playhouse on May 7, 2007. Fat Pig shut down on July 1, 2007 with her as the accountant Jeannie. Anders was in her very first commercial for television on Dannon in the late 1990s. Then again, around the year 2006. Anders was most well-known for her role in Joey as well as The Class, where she played Nicole Allen Campbell (the ex-wife of a soccer player) (and as attorney Alex Garrett). Anders appeared in each episode of both series, but neither was renewed. Anders made guest appearances in One Life to Live as also Law & Order and Tru Calling. In 2003, she starred as Donna Degenhart on five episodes of the HBO drama Oz. Also, she made minor appearances in The Stepford Wives (2004) as Heather as well as Sex Drive (2008) as Brandy. Anders has also played Brandy in the 2008 film Sex Drive. Anders has appeared in two TV pilots which did not succeed. The pilots included Spellbound and News To Me. Most recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera workplace comedy created by Victor Fresco for ABC.
