Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin but now lives in Los Angeles, is originally from DeForest. In 1993 she completed her graduation from DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. In 2001, she earned her master's degree in fine art in fine arts from Rutgers University. Anders was in a relationship with Matt LeBlanc (whom she met on the set of Joey) as her former co-star from the series that ended in a cancellation. Sean Anders directs her (Sex Drive, never Thawed). Anders' career began in the theatre in 2001. She understudied Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. In The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. In addition to On the Jump, New Doors which was staged at the Guthrie Theater and New World Rhapsody, she was also on the Arena Stage in On the Jump, New Doors, at the Guthrie Theater. Anders made her debut with Fat Pig at Geffen Playhouse on the 7th of May, 2007. The role she played was Jeannie who was an accountant. Fat Pig closed on July 1st, 2007. One of Anders her first TV appearances was in an advertisement for Dannon that ran during the early 1990s before returning in 2006. Anders has been a part of Joey since the beginning, playing Alex Garrett the lawyer and The Class (nee Campbell) as Nicole Allen - an ex footballer's wife. The two series ended up being cancelled even though she was in every episode. Anders made guest appearances on One Life to Live (as Donna Degenhart), Law & Order (as Heather), The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. Anders was featured in five episodes of the HBO drama series Oz in 2003 as Donna Degenhart in 2003, and made a minor appearance in 2004's film The Stepford Wives, playing the part of Heather, and the film Sex Drive as Brandy. Anders also appeared as Brandy in 2008's film, Sex Drive. Anders was also a part of two TV pilots that did not succeed. Spellbound as well as News To Me were the two unsuccessful television pilots. Recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera workplace comedy created by Victor Fresco for ABC.
